Minnesota Nursing Home Social Workers Association (MNHSWA) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1972 by a small group of Twin Cities social workers. Today, it serves approximately 200 members, including social workers in nursing homes and those working with older adults in a variety of settings across Minnesota. The organization is led by an elected, volunteer board, committee chairs, liaisons, and chapter officers.
